First Lady Yvonne Wright

Evangelist Yvonne D. Wright, a woman that loves God was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1989 and received a BA in Sociology from St. Augustine’s University. Shortly after arriving to North Carolina, Evangelist Wright found herself in the Word and was saved at the age of 18 at the ministry of Upper Room Church of God in Christ where the Pastor is Dr. Patrick L. Wooden, Sr.

Evangelist Wright has been active in the church since her salvation. Continuing to seek the Lord in prayer, God called her into the ministry in 1995. As the First Lady of Miracle Temple Ministries whatever her hands finds to do, she does it to the Glory of God. She is busy helping her husband carry out the will of God for their lives.

She and Pastor Wright are the proud parents of one daughter, the love of their life, Braxton Pamela Wright. “Los,” as she so fondly calls him and Braxton are her joy and first ministry. She takes pride in loving and caring for them. Evangelist Wright believes that if you keep God First, and continue to lift up the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord, all of God’s choice blessings will be yours. Her life is a living testimony that all things will work together for your good when you keep God First and follow His will.

Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (NKJV)
